Chaudhary Charan Singh (23 December 1902 – 29 May 1987)

He was the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, serving from 28 July 1979 until 14 January 1980 with the support of 64 members. He never faced Parliament, even though he was in office for 171 days. Within 24 days of assuming office, congress withdrew its support, after which he resigned and continued as caretaker P.M , till fresh elections were held.
