What is the percentage increase in combined salaries of both ?

Let Saran's salary =x
Then Rohit;s salary =x/2
Basic salary=x+x/2=3x/2
Total of basic salary + % increase=
[(x/2)+(x/2*1/2)]+[x+x/4]=2x
% increase={[2x-(3x/2)]/(3x/2)}*100
=33.33%
ans is 33.33%
