How many birthday's does the average man have? One, the day they are born.
Some months have 31 days; how many have 28? All the months have 28 in them.
Is it legal for a man to marry his widow's sister? His widow is his wife, that means he is dead.
What's the answer when you divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10? 70
If there are 3 apples and you take away 2, how many do you have? You have 2, the ones you took.
If a doctor gives you three pills, telling you to take one every half hour, how many minutes will the pills last? 60 minutes, you take the 1st pill, 30 minutes later you take the 2nd and another 30 minutes later you take the 3rd pill.
A farmer has 17 sheep and all but 9 die. How many are left? 8
A clerk in the butcher shop is 5'10" tall. What does he weigh? He weighs meat, he is a butcher.

Okay now, I change my answer to 17 (9 alive and 8 dead, "all but 9 means all are dead except 9)

This is definitely one of the harder number puzzles on this site.
A teacher says: I'm thinking of two natural numbers greater than 1. Try to guess what they are.
The first student knows their product and the other one knows their sum.
First: I do not know the sum.
Second: I knew that. The sum is less than 14.
First: I knew that. However, now I know the numbers.
Second: And so do I.
What were the numbers?
