The way to do that is to use a double negative. An example is to point to one road (it makes
no difference which) and ask "If I asked you whether this is the
way to my home, would you say it is?"

Person can ask a question from a person on any of the road as "If I ask the other person where if his road goes to home what would he answer"

Now there are two possibilities say the person he selected and asked the question always lies then other person would be truth-teller and he will say yes if his road goes to home, no if does not take it to home and since selected person lies then he will say no (after negating the answer) if road goes to home else yes.

Now in other case say if the person he selected and asked the question is a truth-teller then other person would be liar and he will say no if his road goes to home, yes if does not take it to home and since selected person is a truth teller then he will say no if road goes to home else yes.

In both the cases answer is no if road takes it to the home else yes. So now person can behave opposite to the answer to reach home safely.
