Lets assume the radius of the circle is r then the area of image = 2*(3/4 area of circle) + area of square
= 2*(3/4)* Pi * r^2 + r^2
=3/2 Pi r^2 + r^2

Let r be the radius of the circle. Therefore r = side of the square
The total area will be 2 x (3/4 area of the circle) + area of the square
In other words:
2 x (3/4 x pi x r^2) + r^2

(1.5* pi +1)*r*r . area in each of the 3/4 circles is 3/4 * pi*r*r and area of square is r*r. hence the answer
