let present ages of ram and shyam be x and y
x/y=4/3

x-10=1/2(y-10)
4y/3-10=1/2(y-10)
2(4y-30)=3(y-10)
8y-60=3y-30
5y=30
y=6
then x=4y/3=4*6/3=8
Sum of their present ages=x+y=8+6=14

X=2
Total age=2(4+3)

Solving both , we get S=6, R=8
