How long would it take you to count 1 billion orally ?

How long would it take you to count 1 billion orally if you could count 200 every minute and were given a day off every four years? Assume that you start counting on 1 January 2001.

1 Billion = 1000,000,000 = 1000,000,000/200 Minutes = 1000,000,000/60*200 Hrs = 1000,000,000/24*60*200 Days = 3472.22 Days or 3473 days

Since 1 day off after 4 years which will take care of leap year so we can take 365 days in a year

3473 day = 9 Year 188 Days i.e. 8 July 2010
