For a train of length (1/4) mile long to cross a tunnel of (9/2) mile long it has to travel a distance of (9/2) + (1/4) = 4.75 miles ie., length of the tunnel + length of the train.
Therefore to find the time taken for this ===> distance / speed = Time
4.75/76 = 0.0625 hours = 225 seconds
