A farmer has 10 cows, all but six die, how many are left ?

A farmer has 16 cows.
They are numbered also 1 to 16.
Each number also represents No of litres that cow gives.
For eg 10 no cow gives 10 litres.
The Farmer has four sons.
He wants to distribute equal no of cows and equal no of litres to each son.
Can you help him?
