The answer is 12343. All primes except 2 are odd and since 12345 is expressed here as the sum of two prime numbers, 1 of the 2 numbers has to be even ( Because Even + Odd = Odd and Odd + Odd = Even ) and the only even prime is 2 so naturally the other prime is 12345 - 2 = 12343.
