The answer is ===> C] As far as he wants.

If you start up with n books than the book on the table must start with (1/2n)th of its length in overhang { Overhang is the distance from the tip of the book to the edge of the table or the underlying book }. The subsequent books can then have (1/2(n-1))th overhang {which is greater than the previous overhang} and so on until the final book that can overhang half of its length.

In other words the overhang can increase as we go above in the stack and if there are infinite books theoretically it can have an overhang of:

This is a divergent sum ie., if there are infinite terms the sum also reaches infinity. Therefore the answer is C.

If you take a marker & start from a corner on a cube, what is the maximum number of edges you can trace across if you never trace across the same edge twice, never remove the marker from the cube, & never trace anywhere on the cube, except for the corners & edges ?

Suppose I am giving you a two wheeler,
It has one front wheel and one rear wheel,
Now I am giving you one more wheel (extra wheel)
So now total you have 3 wheels,
Each wheel can travel 5 kms and after that wheel will burst.
Then what will be the maximum distance that you can travel with this two wheeler.

Note :- You can interchange all 3 wheels with each other to travel longer distance.

Like an usual car, my new i10 car has 5 wheels(2 front + 2 Rear + 1 spare).
The rear wheel of the car will wear out after 21000 kilometers and the front wheel will wear out after 29000 kilometers.

What is the maximum distance I can cover assuming changing of wheels is not an issue?

A car has 4 tyres and 1 spare tyre. Each tyre can travel a maximum distance of 20000 miles before wearing off. What is the maximum distance the car can travel before you are forced to buy a new tyre? You are allowed to change tyres (using the spare tyre) unlimited number of times.
