How many degrees are there in the angle between the hour and minute hands of a clock when the time is a quarter past 3?

Dinesh was curious to know the angle between the hour and minute hands of a clock, so when he see10:10 in a clock he calculates the shorter angle between the hands.
Which time will also make the same angle between the hour and minute hand as calculated by Dinesh?

Minute hand on 3 and hour hand passes 3 as man degrees as 30/(60/15) degrees= 7.5 degrees

7.5 degrees.

The minute hand is pointing directly at the '3'. The hour hand is 1/4 of the way between the '3' and '4'. Since there are 12 numbers the angle between each number is 30 degrees. So the angle between the hands are 30 degrees * 1/4 = 7.5 degrees.
