The cost of the salt should be 39 / 1.3 = 30 p / kg.
Each kg cost (25 * x kg cheap salt + 42 * 1 kg expensive salt) / (x + 1) kg salt
=> 25 * x + 42 = 30 * (x + 1)
=> 12 = 5 * x
x = 2.4
