How much profit in a actual cost did he decide to get in the earlier structure of watch?

A shopkeeper decides to give a discount of 20% + 30% on the printed price of a watch, but unfortunately the printed banner comes with the print as 30%+40% discount. If he gets a gain of only 5% of actual cost of watch in this new structure then how much profit in a actual cost did he decide to get in the earlier structure.

70%-- 5%
44% --- ????

= 44*5/70
= 30.15%
