7 years ago, what was the ratio of Isha's age to that of her grandfather's age?

4 yrs ago --- 5*(x-4)=y-4 => y=5x-16 --->(1)
8 yrs from now ---- 3*(x+8)=y+8 => y=3x+16 --->(2)
Comparing (1) & (2) we find 5x-16=3x+16 => x=16 => y=64
Now, 7 yrs ago, x-7=9, y-7=57 ---> (x-7)/(y-7)=9/57=3/19
