Two buses A and B are at positions 50 m and 100 m from the origin at time t = 0.
They start moving in the same direction simultaneously with uniform velocity of 10 m/s and 5 m/s.
Find the position in metres from the origin at which A overtakes B?

Bus A overtakes the bus B be in x seconds.
Bus A travels the distance of 50+10x
Bus B travels the distance of 100+5x
The above are equal, so
50+10x=100+5x --> x= 10 seconds
The position is 50+100=100+50=150 m
