How did they do it?

Two Siamese twins, who were not separated at birth or any time, were going on vacation, but needed to be back home within exactly one week from the time they left. However, one of them wanted to go to Paris, France, and the other wanted to go to Sydney, Australia. They found a way that they could both stay at their preferred vacation place for three and a half days.

How did they do it?

They were not conjoined twins. They were Siamese twins -- that is, twins from Siam

A famous chemist was found murdered in his own lab.

There was no evidence except for a piece of paper with the names of chemical substances on it, which he wrote right before he died.

The chemicals on the list were;

Oxygen
Carbon
Nickel
Lanthanum
Sulfur
On the day he was murdered, the chemist had only 3 visitors: his wife Mary, his nephew Nicolas, and his friend Johnathan.

The police arrested the murderer right away.

How did they know who it was and why?

A man murders his wife with a knife in their car. Nobody is around to see this.

He throws her out of the car being careful not to leave any fingerprints on her body.

Next he throws the knife off of a cliff into a gorge where it will never be found and he goes home.

An hour later the police call him and tell him that his wife has been murdered and he needs to come to the scene of the crime immediately.

As soon as he arrives, he is arrested.
