Find the quantity of juice in the mixture?

A mixture contains juice and water in the ratio 4:3. If 7 litre of water is added to it, the ratio of juice and water becomes 3:4. Find the quantity of juice in the mixture.

Let juice be j litres.
So water= 3j/4 litres
When 7 litres water added ratio becomes 3:4
j/(3j/4 + 7 ) = 3/4
j= 12 litres

Ans: 12 litres
