Aarav and Bhuvan have a certain number of chocolates with them. If Bhuvan gives one chocolate to Aarav, they will have equal number of chocolates. But if Aarav gives one chocolate to Bhuvan, then Aarav will be left with half the number of chocolates that Bhuvan has.

Aarav-4, Bhuvan-6.
Let 'x' be the no. of chocolates they will have after Bhuvan gives one chocolate.
Aarav actually has 'x-1', Bhuvan has 'x+1'.
When Aarav gives one to Bhuvan he will be left with 'x-2'
Given '(x-2)=((x+1)/2)'
On solving we get 'x=3'.
Hence Aarav-4, Bhuvan-6.

Your answer Aarav-4, Bhuvan-6. ===> is wrong
Let's test: A+1 = 5 and B-1= 5 ok!
But A-1 = 3 and B+1 = 7 ===> B/A = 7/3 (is wrong because not equal 2)
Your calculation is wrong. It should be:
x-2 = (x+2)/2 ===> in solving we get x=6
Hence Aarav = 6 - 1 = 5 and Bhuvan = 6 + 1 = 7

Answer: Aarav (A) = 5 and Bhuvan (B) = 7
A + 1 = B - 1 ----> A = B + 2
A - 1 = (B + 1) / 2 ---> B + 2 - 1 = (B + 1) / 2---> B-1 = (B + 1) / 2
solving A = 5 and B = 7
Check: A + 1 = B - 1 ----> 5+1=7-1 ok; A - 1 = (B+1)/2 ----> 5-1 = (7+1)/2 ---> ok

Priyanka visited a famous monument called “holyghar” located near Himalayas. It was a round structure consisting of 100 steps in spiral stairway to reach top. From top you can have overview of natural beauty surrounding that place. Priyanka thought of reaching the top. She also carried a lot of chocolates with her for kids. In the process of climbing up, with each step a chocolate falls from her bag. When she reaches top, she donates half of the chocolates left with her to small kids. Again, in the process of climbing down a chocolate falls down with each step.
She repeats the same process at five holyghars and now she is left with no chocolates. Can you find out the total number of chocolates she had with her initially?

You have two jars of chocolates labelled as P and Q. If you move one chocolate from P to Q, the number of chocolates on B will become twice the number of chocolates in A. If you move one chocolate from Q to P, the number of chocolates in both the jars will become equal.

Can you find out how many chocolates are there in P and Q respectively?
