How is this possible?

I have a glass of water. I pour it into a bigger glass of water and it fills completely to the top. I pour that same amount of water into another bigger glass of water and it pours to the top, and I repeat this process again 3 more times. How is this possible?

The glass is getting bigger in height but smaller in width.
