As per paythagorous therome,
5^2+12^2=13^2
So ans is 13ft

Here we need to apply pythagoras theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2

c^2 = 12^2 + 5^2
c^2 = 144+25
c^2 = 169
c = 13

Distance between home and man = 13 fits

Ans :- 13 fts
