Sunil Gavaskar became the first Indian cricketer to play 100 test matches. He played is 100th test match against Pakisthan at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium in 1984. He managed to scored only 48 and 37 in both the innings against Pakistan, and the match saw India following on and resulting in a tame draw.
