Virender Sehwag is the only Indian player to score two Triple centuries. The first one was the famous 309 scored against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Multan Cricket Stadium on the 28th of March, 2004 which earned him the moniker of 'Multan ka Sultan'. He was judged Man of the Match for this performance which helped India defeat Pakistan by an innings.
The second one was the 319 scored against South Africa at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. He was judged Man of the Match for this performance as well.
