LTE: How operator will charge user when data will be reaching to UE through LTE radio access as well as through Wifi AP?

Now and days, various technology options are coming out which can be used to improve LTE throughput as well as LTE capacity. LTE-U/LAA, LWA are well known options. Would operators prefer to have different charging fro different access or the user will be charged same whether it is receiving data through any access (i.e. LTE-U/LAA or LWA) ?

Hi vikram,

Max operator chosse charging policy as same for all these technology, Beacause in user percpective i dont bother about LAA or LWA or LTE-U, My need is high throughput. If you are operator consider how you will convey these different tech cost to user, because he dosen't even know about LTE(except HIGH throughput :) ). So they will be having charging based on gaurenteed bit rate. back end they can use any technology.

What things would be considered by an operator while selecting either LAA or LWA ?

My query is, suppose i have x-operator connection but in an particular area X-network is not present so operator has made a deal with Y-operator. That is in this area X-network is not there kindly provide the network to my users when they are present here. Y-network will give the resources.

The point is how the charging takes place in this case of inter-operator movement?
