For podcast publishers, podcasts are a great way to reach a wide audience. Apple does not directly provide podcast updates or episodes. When you subscribe to a podcast using the Podcasts app for iOS, or using iTunes on your Mac or PC, you are subscribing to the podcast updates by that particular podcast producer.

podcasts are episodes of a program available on the Internet. Podcasts are usually original audio or video recordings, but can also be recorded broadcasts of a television or radio program, a lecture, a performance, or other event.

Podcasts usually offer each episode in the same file format, such as audio or video, so that subscribers can enjoy the program the same way each time. Some podcasts, such as language courses, include multiple file formats, such as video and documents, to teach more effectively.

For podcast listeners, podcasts are a way to enjoy great content from around the world for free. For podcast publishers, podcasts are a great way to reach a wide audience.

With iCloud, you can synchronize your podcast subscriptions across all devices.

How can I get started with podcasts on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?

The Podcasts app for iOS provides easy access to popular and featured podcasts using the navigation icons at the bottom of the app.

To subscribe to a podcast, tap Subscribe on the page for that podcast. To play a podcast, tap on any episode. To download an episode, tap the iCloud icon in the episode list.

You can manage your subscriptions and play podcast episodes in My Podcasts.

I have just installed (with kikstart) centOS6.4 on a PC which was previously running OpenSUSE (11.x). This PC has an apple keyboard and I'm unable to setup this keyboard. In .xsession-errors I get this messages :

Error: No Symbols named "latin9" in the include file "macintosh_vndr/fr"
 Exiting
 Abandoning symbols file "(null)"

** (gnome-settings-daemon:8160): WARNING **: Could not activate the XKB configuration

Google found on a RedHat forum that it seams to be an old known bug but do not find any update or workaround. I've several PC using Apple keyboards as users have also Apple laptops and they do not want to work with two different keyboards.

Does anyone have some know how of sorting out an iTunes that will not run? The Apple software is never, in my experience, as MS-compatible as Apple say it is, but this problem is new to me.

I have used iTunes for some years to sync my iphone with Windows 7 64 bit - no problems. A couple of days ago, for the first time, I set up my wifes ipad to sync within her own Windows User Account and there was no problem - it ran and synced, and transferred photos from PC to ipad etc. Today, on connecting her ipad within her User Account, iTunes starts but then stops responding - no error messages, just dead. The only way out is via Task Manager to end a totally unresponsive iTunes window. In my own User Account, there is no problem (and I am not running it in both Accounts at the same time). This is infuriating as there does not seem to be any way to get iTunes to run in that Account, but it did when set up with her ipad two days ago. An attempted "Repair" in Control Panel made no difference. I tried leaving it for ages to see if it responded again, but that made no difference. Any ideas?
