When UE will discard HARQ buffer data (receiver side) ?

Question

While DL reception UE will store each TB in harq buffer ,but when UE will discard this buffer?

UE once it acquires the channel for contention and performs either uplink or downlink, It will transmit accordingly in the contention window period and once it completes its task, It has to contest again for the channel. So once it aquires the channel, establishes the connection and transmits. It has to again perform the RACH procedure. During the connection establishment it will Reload its buffer.
