By the latest release of 3GPP what I know is MME uses IMSI, IMEI, IMEISV and TMSI as an UE identifier. To support this statement, I would like to share the reference:
Sub clause 10.5.5.9 of specification 24.008.covers the detail on identifiers used in LTE network.

When UE is E-UTRAN attached, how N/W will notify the incoming call (MT call) in both RRC-Connected and RRC-Idle states?

In general, If UE is in RRC-Idle state, N/W will notify through paging message by indicating Domain as CS.
How it will happen in case when UE in RRC-Connected state?
Could anyone please explain on this?

I have seen GTP control messages and found that F-TEID consists of an IP address and 32 bit long Tunnel Id. For example: Create Session Response message contains control plane F-TEID and user plane F-TEIDs. I have a question here, why not only TEIDs are included in Create Session Response message when IP address would be common ? or Does it mean control and user plane both F-TEIDs may have different IP address ?
