Hi bharat,

yes it is mandatory to read PCFICH in every SF, because UE will not have any idea about PDCCH symbols. So when it reads PCFICH it comes to know PDCCH symbols and reads it accordingly.

But why it is needed every SF, one time if UE reads then it can store that information right?
PDCCH symbol is not fixed it will be varying  every SF. If suppose in some SF no UE's to schedule then PDCCH symbols will be less, if more UE's top schedule then PDCCH symbols will be more based on these ENB will change PDCCH symbols.

When UE is asking for DL dedicated bearers (e.g QCI 6) , Is it mandatory that Enb has to configure the UL dedicated bearers with QCI 6 or it UL bearer is optional. If it is mandatory then if UE dont have any uplink transmission means that resource is waste. How to handle this scenario
