Why do we need long DRX CE over DRX CE in LTE?

Why do we need different security keys in MENB and SENB? How ever UE is same then why do we need in dual connectivity?

Hi,

long DRX is used in some scenario which UE doesn't require to wakeup frequently.Normal DRX will have two configuration which is short DRX and long DRX so if you use normal DRX UE will move to short DRX first then long DRX so to avoid this they have introduced long DRX such that UE will move to long sleep directly
