What are the advantages/disadvantages of the connected mode discontinuous reception in LTE?

Advantage are :

UE can save the battery during connected mode. Suppose if you are browsing then you will not be having frequent data hence it will be useful.

Disadvantage maybe an software complexity. Because connected mode DRX is different for each user hence eNB has to take care all of those.
