how mac layer will communicate with the phy layer. what is the interface between mac and phy?

Hi Pratap,

MAC and PHY layer communicate in different way. Most of the MAC and PHY implementation from different vendor so they have come up with the common interfaces like FAPI,etc. So with this common interface any MAC and any Layer can intercommunicate.

Every eNB will have modified version of FAPI for the intercommunication.
