Does multiples Associations between same "sctp-endpoints" have same "sctp-endpoints" name.

I have 2 nodes MSC & SCP and I need to create multiple associations with the details as follows.

Association Name SCTP-endpoints IP Port
AS1 MSC and SCTP 1.1.1.1 1111
AS2 MSC and SCTP 1.1.1.1 1112
AS3 MSC and SCTP 1.1.1.1 1113

Is it possible with above information for each association SCTP-Endpoints remains same, but port is different.

I think  he is asking like this  , (correct me if I am wrong)

Is it possible to create multiple association(AS1, AS2 and AS3) between MSC and SCP  on same IP , same name ( it is end point name)  and different port ??

Could not understand what you are trying to do, but its not feasible. SCTP uniquely identifies the endpoint by IP-Address + Hostname (though vendor specific behaviour can be different).

But my question is why are you trying to do this, from the post it seems that you are trying to achieve the M3UA version of sigtran which run on port 2905 so in the lab u can have any port but in the real deployment it should be 2905.

Consider a case where eNB has only one IP address and it has to act as both SCTP server and SCTP client. Then, how can we do this using same port number as source and destination "36422" (as mention in 3GPP spec 36.422)?

I have one test case in which I have 2 interfaces on each machine (two hosts). One is working as server and one is as client.

If in server I make one interface as public (IP address 164.x.x.x) then the server sends reset to the client).

So question is does SCTP support association between public to private range IP address?

It is found that IP X haven't replied heartbeat Ack to IP A but our client will not try another path B->Y. Would you advise how B->Y path can be enable?

lksctp client IP info:
Primary IP: A
Secondary IP: B

Server primary IP: X
Server secondary IP: Y
