The purpose of this procedure is to check UE radio capability against network configuration for voice call through PS session. If MME is not sure about IMS PS session can be served by a particular eNodeB.

Before establishing an IMS PS session, MME should check whether it can proceed or not. If it doesn't have already such information. MME sends "UE Radio Capability Match Request" to eNodeB. eNodeB cross checks "UE Radio Capability" with the configuration store at eNodeB.
Based on the comparison result, enodeB sends "UE Radio Capability Match Response" message to MME.
There a field " Voice Support Match Indicator" within response message. Value to this IE trigger further actions at MME.

does anyone have an idea about sudden increase in ERAB modification fail due to radio interface procedure in EnodeB Nokia FL15A ?
This was launched after spliting TAC_1 in TAC_1 + TAC_2 in order ot reduce the signalling in MME.
But rollback was done and problem still not resolved.
