Hyperlink not created in comments section of bugzilla?

When I try to create a file link in "Comments" section, by typing file://, the link does not get created. It is shown as plain text.

But I am able to create hyperlinks using http://. What do I need to do to create file links using file:// ?

I have found the solution which solves my purpose. Hope this helps somebody. Bugzilla now, does not create auto-link for protocols which are not in its list of safe protocols.

Since I was trying to link a file, the 'file' protocol needs to be added to the list of safe protocols. So, I added it to the list which is in the file 'Bugzilla/Constants.pm'.

Now, when I type 'file://', Bugzilla creates the auto-link.
(All this is done in the 'Comments' section).

We are using Bugzilla for our project and while we try to use the graphical feature it throws the error that the Graphical feature is not available in your Bugzilla. Anyone run into an issue where the time zone is not working in Bugzilla?

Anyone run into an issue where the time zone is not working in Bugzilla? We have set the time zone for the server in the administration settings. It worked for about a day and now it is no longer working. It is still showing as the correct time zone (MDT) and when I post to a defect it even says MDT, but it is 6 hours in advance.

Not able to add field values in bugzilla.

I have added a custom field "cf_stage" and it added successfully but while I am trying to add field values I am getting below error and I am not able to add field values

visibility_value_id is not a valid parameter for the Bugzilla::Field::Choice::cf_stage::create function.

Not getting notification mail from Bugzilla?

I have an account on Bugzilla and not getting notification mail from Bugzilla from last one month.

It is very hard to track the issue without getting the notification/update on the bug. That causes delay in response to the clients also it affect our business.

All my colleague are getting proper notification from Bugzilla.

Any pointer?

Not able to install bugzilla on Solaris

I was installing bugzilla on Solaris machine and getting below error

./testserver.pl http://localhost
TEST-OK Webserver is running under group id in $webservergroup.
TEST-OK Got padlock picture.
TEST-FAILED Webserver is fetching rather than executing CGI files.
Check the AddHandler statement in your httpd.conf file.

I checked httpd.conf and I have added AddHandler cgi-script .cgi in this file. But not able to get through. Could you help me please.
