what are the values transmitted as CSI?

Why dBm unit is used in case of doing measurement for RSRP and why dB is used for RSRQ ?
What reasoning is behind it ?

CSI means channel state information which a kind of collective name of several different type of indicators (UE report) as listed below.

1. Channel Quality Indicator(CQI)
2. precoding matrix indicator (PMI)
3. precoding type indicator (PTI)
4. rank indication (RI)
