Usage of mkpolicy and mkrolemap commands in clearcase

Question

Is anyone installed and using Clearcase 8.0.1 ? If so , pls give an example usage for : cleartool mkpolicy
and cleartool mkrolemap

mkpolicy -> Policies define permissions for roles
mkrolemap -> Rolemaps map the roles to principals

Here , what is meant by "principal' ( in the command cleartool mkrolemap...). ?
