Where exactly you are pointing out "offset frequency" in RRC connection reconfiguration message.
I want related to the Meas Object EUTRA IE......in which scenario we has to look for that message....check 36.331 release 12 page no:314...u read below table for offset frequency....and what if we change default DB0 to other value....what are all corresponding value to be changed if we change carrier frequency from DB0 to other value

Frequency Offset or Gap we generally mention in RRC Connection Reconfiguration while configuring Measurement Objects for asking UE to send Measurement Reports. Gap Offset is generally used in case of InterFrequency Cells because there is a possibility of interference between them.So what will happen we will ask UE to measure the Signal Quality of the Target Cell at that particular Gap. During that Gap period there will not be any transmission or reception and UE can easily move to the Target cell and do the signal quality measurements.

why eNB sends rrc reconfiguration to connected UE when we add or modify inter frequency for SIB5 on eNB
As i understand, UE reads SIB5 after reading paging in idle mode. Why RRC reconfig is required at this time ?
