If blood has iron content, why does it not get attracted by a magnet?

Iron in the blood is not in its metallic state, but is contained in hemoglobin, which is diamagnetic.

The iron content is not that high as to be attracted by the magnet. Also, the iron is not in free state but in the form of haemoglobin.
