Shivraj Singh Chouhan told in one of the interview that he started schemes such as Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana, reservation for women, after which the girls of the state started calling him Mama. This is where the series started. After this the boys of the state also started calling them Mama.
