Let the be X
then,
3(2x+9)=75
x=8
Ans is 8

Let X be the number, then
(2* X + 9) * 3 = 75
X = 8

the number is 4,
after dubling number = 16;
after adding 9 =25;
after trebling resultent=75;
so number is 4.

Does doubling means squaring (^2) the number or adding itself (x2)?
yes you are right, ther is a mistake, in that condition number will be 8.

8 is the answer
((2 * 8 ) + 9 ) * 3 = 75
