Solution:

Number of ways of selecting one or more than one objects out of S1 alike objects of one kind, S2 alike objects of the second kind is

 (S1 + 1) (S2 + 1)- 1

As per the formula, required number (5 + 1)(6 + 1) – 1 = (6× 7) – 1 = 41.
