(9, 4) or (-9.6, -2.2)
Equations:

  • x = 3y - 3
  • x^2 + y^2 = 97

Substitute x and solve for y:
(3y - 3)^2 + y^2 = 97
9y^2 - 18y + 9 + y^2 = 97
10y^2 - 18y - 88 = 0
5y^2 - 9y - 44 = 0
D = 9^2 - 4*5*(-44) = 81 + 880 = 961
sqrt(D) = 31
y = (9 +- 31)/10
y1 = 4, y2 = -2.2
Respectively:
x1 = 3*4 - 3 = 9
x2 = (-2.2)*3 - 3 = -9.6
