Is it possible to have same QCIs on different bearers for one UE?

example: if UE id connected to 2 external PDNs (APN), i.e. 2 defaults are created w.r.t 2 APNs. In that case, is it possible to get same qci=1 dedicated bearers with different PDNs? (i.e. qci=1 bearer from APN1 & qci=1 bearer frpm APN2)

Generall,y that would not happen and I have not use case where 2 bearers have same QCI. However yes it is possible, as in your case user is going to connect to 2 different APN so the sessions will be different and hence can have bearers with same QCI.

In case you are connected to only 1 APN, technically in that case also, you can have 2 bearers with same QCI because bearer binding is done by PGW based on QCI and ARP( Pl, PCI, PVI). So, if QCI is same and PL are different then also PGW can create 2 different bearers with same QCI.

LTE:: Is it possible to modify multiple APN-AMBR information for single UE at the same time???

Consider UE has connected with multiple PDN connection each contains an different APN information, when we modify APN-AMBR value for both APNs at the same time in HSS and initiated HSS Initiated Subscribed QOS modification procedure, HSS sends Insert Subscriber data to MME with modified APN-AMBR information of both APN to MME, But MME forwards only first modified APN-AMBR information to S-GW in Modify Bearer Command message.
Please can anyone explain why MME does not forward second APN-AMBR information to S-GW ???. Whether the scenario is right either we can modify multiple APN-AMBR informations of single UE at the same time

Can we have same tft set for two dedicated bearers

Hi Folks,

I am trying to create multiple dedicated bearers for UE with same tft set. Is it possible to have same tft set for multple dedicated bearers.?

The reason for asking this is I am actually facing a problem while creating multiple dedicated beares. As soon as second dedicated bearer established for UE, UE is sending Bearer Resource Modification with cause (Regular Deactivation). Couldn't able to find why it is happening.!

Please provide some suggestions..
