I saw a radio frame image which was consists of 10 sub frames. Each sub frame was showing PHICH and PCFICH. I know use of these two channels but want to know whether their positions are fixed or varies in each sub frame ?
Hi,
PHICH and PCFICH are fixed in LTE. PCFICH always occupies forst symbol in every SF and PHICH occupies every first symbol if it is normal duration otherwise first 1,2,3 symbol in every SF.
We know LTE scheduler works at the 1 millisecond level . Why it does not work at the 0.5 ms (slot) level ?
I came to know total six subframes of a radio frame can be used for MBSFN transmission. How UE come to know about exact number of sub frames that are being used in a radio frame ? Does the eNodeB send this information to UE or UE itself figure out ?
On what parameter basis, eNodeB changes its current transmission mode to different transmission mode for an UE ? What parameters are considered to take decision on transmission mode ? Does the eNodeB inform to UE about the selected TM ?
What is the duration of a sub-frame and a frame in LTE? How many OFDM symbols per sub-frame? What is the transmit time interval (TTI) over which an allocation happens in the DL or UL?
