Kindly clear my doubts asap.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes ENB will have bandwidth limitation as well as Loan limitation. Say e.g If it is 20 MHz bw then ENb with single cell will have only bandwidth of 20 MHz and only limited no of UE can accommodate. If more no of UE requesting service in single ENb then loan balancing should be there to balance it.

Thanks for the reply.

sir, but what is loan limitation? and what does eNB with single cell mean ? kindly clear.
Hi,

A single ENb can have more than one cell, It is depends on the operator configuration (i don't know the max no of cell per ENB :) ) . Loan limitation in the sense say E.g there are 100 UE in the ENB and Each UE subscribed 1Mbps in the total of 100Mbps(20MHz). If 101 UE asking for the resource then ENb has to balance the resource assigned to the other UE. If ENb cannot handle the balence then there will be balancing issue.
Sir, can you tell me the exact Bandwidth capacity of an eNB in LTE networks?
It varies 1.4mhz to 20mhz bandwidth

If RN replicate entire functionality then why are we calling it as RN instead we can call it as secondary ENB?
