Whenever a GTP node contacts with its peer first time, it includes recovery IE in the first message. Upon receiving a message with this IE peer node can reset all existing contexts assuming peer was down.
Could somebody explain about Recovey IE in GTPC message .I know this is restart counter of GW .Then what is the importance of this IE?
