What is channel mapping used in UMTS for Release 7 and Release 8?.. If someone can reply with diagram. It will be more helpful.

Not sure about Rel 7 or 8 but following figure I have. Please comment if looking for something different -

And Very Sorry for delayed response.
But, yes its not for rel 7 and rel 8. In rel 7  & 8 , new features are introduced and so new channels are also introduced.
