RRM spec will tell about the threshold for event B1,B2 but no where they mentioned about A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 threshold?
How to calculate this threshold?
I came to know when an UE attach to network, it is configured for events A1 and A2 by default as part of normal attach. Is it correct ? if yes then why ?
I have two cells having same operating frequency with different PCI's. After applying measurement config I got neighbor cell measurement report and then I am triggering for ECGI request but I am not getting ECGI report.
So I am guessing there is problem in configuration of DRX which is used to give proper idle period to UE.
Please help if any one have experience on this.
is there any specific events in LTE that support only interfrequency and intrafrequency HO ... kindly specify in detail how
I have gone through spec 36.331. "E-UTRAN only configures a single measurement object for a given frequency, i.e. it is not possible to configure two or more measurement objects for the same frequency with different associated parameters, e.g. different offsets and/ or blacklists".
why such limitations have been there ?
I was going through the measurement configuration sends from eNodeB to UE in RRC Connection Reconfiguration message. I saw that multiple events have been defined and are used. Couple of parameters are considered to detect entering and leaving condition of an event for example event A1. Now I have a question "Threshold and Hys values are same for all the cell or it may different". Does the standard define the value of all these parameters or network operator defines ? If network operator does then what are points to derive these values ?
