1/9+1/12=7/36 for 2 days.
Hance total work will require
2*36/7=10.28 days.

Rahul does 1/9th of the work per day; Maneesh does 1/12th the work per day. Together, they do 1/9 + 1/12, or 7/36 of the work every 2 days. 1/7/36=36/7. 36/7 x 2=72/7, or 10 & 2/7 days, working alternately
