What is the difference between eNB and gNB ?

Hi ,

gNB is generation eNB , 5G is also called as new generation eNB that's why eNB is called as gNB in 5G,No much protocol changes .all the protocol is same as LTE but light functional changes are imposed and PHY layer is entirely changed.
